Priyam Collective proudly launches this website with the hope to connect with like- minded persons from across the world and collaborate as, when, and how we see fit. These are potent times not just about the recent peoples’ uprising in Sri Lanka but wherever people’s movements have been making history. Authoritarian governments and individuals are being challenged and held accountable. Although we might not see immediate results as desired, the awareness that desired changes take time helps us to keep the momentum alive, be strategic in our engagements despite the efforts to silence the voices of concerns, dissents, justice and freedom, and be hopeful.
The content of this website provides basic information on Priyam Collective’s aspirations, values, functions, and dreams. Collectively, we speak of issues based on personal and/or community experiences. We continue to push boundaries and othering practices and search for all the nuances and intersections that add layers of complications to stories and situations. Our desires are to create, sustain, and multiply safe spaces with collaborative spirits. Here is hoping to expand our horizons….
